How to use Lenovo Downloader Tool

These are the instructions to use Lenovo Downloader Tool to Flash Stock firmware on any Qualcomm Smartphone and Tablets.
Caution: Your personal data will be deleted after flashing the stock firmware through Lenovo Downloader, So take a backup of everything before following the tutorial below.

Use Lenovo Downloader Tool

Step 1: Download and install Qualcomm Driver on your Windows Computer (if you have already installed the correct drivers then SKIP this step).

Step 2: Download and extract Lenovo Downloader Tool on your Computer. After extracting, you will be able to see the following files:

Step 3: Now, Open QcomDLoader.exe. Once it is launched you will be able to see the following screen:

Step 4: Now, Click on Load Button and Select the Firmware Folder (that you have downloaded) that you wanted to flash on your Device.

Step 5: Now, Click on Start Button.

Step 6: Now, Turn Off the Device with Uncheck Fastboot and Press and Hold Volume UP and Volume Down Button and Connect the Device to the Computer using the USB Cable (at the same time).

Step 7: Once your device is detected by the computer, Lenovo Downloader Tool will automatically start the flashing process on your device.

Step 8: Flashing process may take upto 5-10 minutes to complete. And Once flashing process is completed you will be able to see the Green Passed Message.

Congratulations, Now you have successfully flashed the stock firmware on your Qualcomm Device using the Lenovo Downloader Tool.

How to Flash Stock Rom With Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool)

These are the instructions to Flash Stock Rom or any custom rom using Smart Phone Flash Tool (SP Flash Tool) on Windows Computer.

Requirements: Your Android Smartphone should have at-least 40-50 percent of battery to perform the Flashing Process.

Step 1: Download and install Android USB Driver on your computer. In case Android USB Drivers are already installed on your Computer then skip this step.

Step 2: Power Off your Android Smartphone and remove the Battery (if it is removable).

Step 3: Download the Stock Rom or Custom Rom that you want to Flash on your Android Smartphone and extract it on your Computer.

Step 4: Download and Extract Smart Phone Flash Tool on Your Computer. After Extracting you will be able to see the following files:

Step 5: Now Open Flash_tool.exe (you will find this from the extracted files in Step#4).

Step 6: Once Smart Phone Flash Tool is launched, Click on the Download Tab.

Step 7: In the Download Tab, now click on the scatter-loading button.

Step 8: Now, Locate the Scatter File (you will find the scatter file in the Stock rom folder).

Step 9: Now, Click on the Download Button to begin the Flashing Process.

Step 10: Now, Connect your Smartphone to the Computer using USB Cable (without battery- if it is removable). After connecting the device to the computer Press Volume Down or Volume Up key, so that your computer easily detect your smartphone.

How to flash Samsung Stock Rom with Odin

These are the instructions to flash Samsung Stock ROM (original firmware) using Odin on Windows Computer.
Requirements: Your Samsung Smartphone should have at-least 30-40 percent of phone battery to perform the flashing process.

Flash Samsung Stock Rom using Odin

Step 1: Download and install Samsung USB Driver on your computer. In case you have already installed the Samsung USB Driver on your computer then Skip this step.

Step 2: Download (Stock ROM compatible with your device or if you have already downloaded the firmware then ignore downloading it again) and extract it on your computer. After extracting you will be able to see these kind of files:

Step 3: Power Off your Samsung Device.

Step 4: Now, you have to boot into Download mode. To boot into Download Mode: Press and Hold Volume Down Key, Home Key and Power Key. When phone vibrates Leave the Power Key but Keep holding the Volume Down Key and Home key. You will boot into the Download Mode.

Step 5: In the Download mode you will be able to see a Warning Yellow Triangle Sign. In this situation you have to press the Volume up key to continue.

Step 6: Download and extract Odin on your computer. After extracting you will be able to see the following files:

Step 7: Now, Open Odin3 and connect your phone to the computer.

Step 8: Once you have connected the phone to the computer, Odin will automatically recognize the device and show “Added” message at the lower-left panel.

Step 9: Once your device detected by Odin, click on the “PDA” button and select the tar.md5 file that you have extracted in Step #2.

Step 10: Now, click on the “Start” button in Odin to begin the Flashing process.

Step 11: Once you see, the Green Pass Message then remove the USB cable from the device (during this process, your device will restart automatically).

Step 12: Your Samsung Device will now stuck at boot (boot loop). Now, You have to boot into Stock Recovery Mode, To Enable Stock Recovery mode: Press and Hold Volume UP key, Home Key, Power Key. When phone vibrates Leave the Power Key but Keep holding the Volume UP Key and Home key. You will boot into the Recovery Mode.

Step 13: In Recovery Mode, Wipe Data/factory reset.

Step 14: Once Cache Data is cleared, Select Restart Phone Now from the recovery menu.

Step 15: Now, your Samsung Device will restart without any issue with the Stock Rom you have downloaded.

It gives you the confidence to take little risks like flashing CF-Root kernels or a custom recovery because always know that if anything goes wrong, you’ll be able to restore the stock firmware and fix your device.
While most Android devices have a Bootloader Mode with other options like Fastboot and Recovery integrated into a single interface, Samsung Galaxy devices are a bit different as you need to use different key combinations to boot the device into the Download/Odin and the Recovery modes.
If you own a Samsung phone or tablet, you must be familiar with Odin. Odin is a very useful tool that detects your Samsung device only when it’s in Download Mode and it can flash files with .tar or .tar.md5 extension. Developed by Samsung, Odin was originally meant to be used only in company’s service centers. The Odin tool we use is actually the leaked version of the official. Most Samsung users might need to use Odin at some point of time for different purposes.
